Colorado RallyCross

Welcome to Colorado RallyCross!  What is RallyCross?  Think of it as autocross gone wild.  Instead of a paved parking lot, we race on gravel or dirt under all types of conditions—dust, more dust, mud, rain, snow, ice, wind, and even darkness.  If you’re new to RallyCross, check out our website for more information about the most exciting entry-level motorsport on the planet!  If you’re a RallyCross veteran, be sure to mark this year’s events on your calendar.  We hope to see you at the next event!

TOPIC: Newbie to CO and RallyX, should Disable I ABS?

Newbie to CO and RallyX, should Disable I ABS? 4 years, 4 months ago #1532

Hello All,

Look forward to meeting y'all Sunday, I did a search on the forum and I didn't see any topics show up on whether or not ABS should be disabled (or maybe I am just terrible at searching forums). I would imagine it should but figured it couldn't hurt to see if anyone would have some insight before race day!

Also, I have a 03 WRX wagon (I'm fairly new to the car as well) and from everything I've read it seems a unlabeled 10amp fuse under the dash is the way to go NOT the big ABS labeled fuse. I figured there are probably a few other wrx guys here that would know

Hi, Kyle. Yes, most competitors recommend disabling ABS by pulling the appropriate fuse. You might want to try a lap or two with the ABS on and then turn it off to see if you notice a difference.
